  • Publication number: 20190161365
Abstract: Some embodiments may include a device for separating product water which is obtained by condensation from raw water comprising a mixture of water and impurities comprising: a gas process circuit for a process gas, including an evaporator for the raw water and a condenser for the product water connected in series; and a product water process circuit including the condenser and a first heat exchanger for cooling the product water connected in series. The evaporator comprises an inlet for the raw water and an outlet for a concentrate which as compared to the raw water has a higher concentration of impurities to be separated. The condenser comprises an inlet for the product water in a top of the condenser and the outlet for the product water in a bottom of the condenser. The process gas flows from the bottom of the condenser to the top of the condenser.

  • Publication number: 20140209449
Abstract: A method reprocesses waste water containing an organic acid from an industrial process. A base is added to the acid-containing waste water. A salt dissolving in the waste water is produced due to a neutralization reaction. The waste water is subsequently guided in a heat exchanger process, a heat exchange medium being used such that the waste water which is to be treated is partially evaporated and is condensed into purified water on a condensation device. A concentrate enriched with the salt forms a residue and the purified water is guided back into the industrial process.

  • Publication number: 20140190902
Abstract: Waste water from an industrial process, including an organic acid, is reprocessed by introducing the waste water into a heat exchange process in which a heat exchange medium is used so that the waste water which is to be treated is heated to a temperature between 60° C. and the boiling point of the waste water. Subsequently, the waste water is partially evaporated and re-condensed, with the waste water irradiated with UV radiation during the evaporation and condensation process in the liquid and/or gas phase. As a result, a chemical transformation of the organic acid in H2O and carbon dioxide is at least partially carried out. Then, the condensed part of the purified waste water is fed back into the industrial process.

  • Publication number: 20030228407
Abstract: In a method for the extraction of constituents from an extractive, especially from comminuted vegetable material, with a liquid solvent, the solvent flows under pressure through at least one extraction reactor (3) with the extractive. The solvent flows through the extraction reactor (3) with abrupt changes of pressure.
