  • Publication number: 20240224244
Abstract: A communication method for a wireless ad hoc network is described. The wireless ad hoc network includes a plurality of nodes, wherein the wireless ad hoc network is a time-slotted barrage relay network. The communication method including the following steps: transmitting, by each node of the plurality of nodes, at least one initial data package to each of the remaining nodes, respectively; receiving, by each node of the plurality of nodes, the initial data packages from the remaining nodes of the plurality of nodes, respectively; determining, by each node of the plurality of nodes, a node-specific maximum transmission distance based on the received initial data packages; and including, by each node of the plurality of nodes, the respective node-specific maximum transmission distance into subsequently transmitted data packages. Further, a wireless ad hoc network is described.

  • Publication number: 20240224245
Abstract: A communication method is disclosed for a wireless ad hoc network having a plurality of nodes, each node including a RX circuit and a TX circuit configured to receive or transmit data packages based on time division multiple access (TDMA) frames, respectively. The TDMA frames include time slots that are unambiguously assigned to one of the nodes, respectively. The communication method includes: transmitting, by at least one node of the plurality of nodes, at least one data package in a subset of time slots of a TDMA frame, respectively, wherein the subset of time slots is assigned to a subset of nodes of the plurality of nodes; and deactivating, by the at least one node, the RX circuit and/or the TX circuit of the at least one node during the subset of time slots of subsequent TDMA frames.

  • Publication number: 20060009149
Abstract: In a radio communication system which incorporates numerous radio stations, messages are transmitted along a path from a first radio station to a second radio station via one or more radio stations which forward the messages. At least one radio station on the path sends a first signaling message to the radio station which is neighboring to it along the path towards the first radio station. This signaling message contains data about the maximum transmission resource access rate to be used for sending messages to the one or more radio station.
