  • Patent number: 10230499
Abstract: Techniques according to which HARQ feedback transmitted from a wireless device to a base station includes not only the ACK/NACK status for the corresponding hybrid automatic-repeat-request (HARQ) process, but also certain information that was provided by the network in the last received downlink assignment. An example method, as implemented in a wireless device operating in a wireless communication network, comprises receiving from the wireless communication network, in a first transmission-time interval, a resource-assignment message indicating resources allocated for a data transmission to the wireless device. The example method further comprises transmitting to the wireless communication network, in a second transmission-time interval, feedback information that includes an indication of whether the data transmission was correctly received by the wireless device and further includes one or more mirrored information fields copied from the resource-assignment message.

  • Publication number: 20190075590
Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to method performed by a radio-network node for handling a data transmission, from a wireless device to the radio-network node, in a wireless communication network. The radio-network node schedules one or more resources for carrying an uplink data transmission from the wireless device over a channel, and for carrying a feedback transmission, of a downlink data transmission from the radio-network node, over the same channel. The radio-network node transmits a control message to the wireless device, which control message indicates the one or more resources scheduled for carrying the uplink data transmission and the feedback transmission over the same channel.

  • Patent number: 10218489
Abstract: The disclosure presents a method embodiment, performed in a network node, of coordinating transmission on a backhaul link with transmission on an end-user access link in a wireless network. Transmission is performed in time division duplex, TDD, radio frames transmitted on respective frequency bands on the backhaul link and the end-user access link. The method comprises determining a backhaul TDD configuration of the backhaul link and an end-user access TDD configuration of the end-user access link. A backhaul sub-frame and an end-user access sub-frame are selected. An offset is determined between the backhaul sub-frame and the end-user access sub-frame. Transmission on the backhaul link or on the end-user access link is adjusted with a time-shift relative to transmission on the backhaul link, wherein the time-shift is based on the determined offset.

  • Patent number: 10111155
Abstract: Embodiments herein include methods and arrangements for controlling access of mobile devices to a network, such as GSM. The mobile devices belong to an access control class (ACC) and also belong to an additional access control class (EACC) that provides extended access control. The arrangement broadcasts system information to the mobile devices that comprises a first indicator indicating an ACC. The first indicator indicates whether a mobile device is allowed to access or is barred from accessing the network. The system information further comprises a second indicator indicating an EACC. The second indicator indicates whether a mobile device is allowed to access or is limited from accessing the network. Limited access may entail blocking a mobile device from initiating communications with the network, blocking the mobile device from receiving network initiated communications, or both. • Publication number: 20180270020
Abstract: A method for retransmission of uplink transmissions, performed by a wireless device with configured uplink grants. The method comprises transmitting a first transmission to a network node with a redundancy version (RV). The wireless device then determines to retransmit the first transmission, and retransmits the first transmission with a retransmission RV based on the type of retransmission. For a non-adaptive retransmission, the retransmission RV value is the same as the RV of the first retransmission. For an adaptive retransmission, the retransmission RV is the RV value received in a retransmission grant.
