  • Patent number: 10543320
Abstract: A drive assembly for a drug delivery device is provided, including a piston rod which is moveable in a distal direction in order to deliver a dose of medication, and including a drive element which is configured to cause a movement of the piston rod. The drive assembly further includes a decelerating mechanism which is configured to decelerate the movement of the drive element such that the movement of the piston rod is decelerated during the dispense of a dose. The decelerating mechanism includes a decelerating element which is fixed with respect to a housing of the drug delivery device at least during the dispense of a dose and the drive element, wherein the drive element is configured to rotate with respect to the housing during the dispense of a dose, and wherein the decelerating element and the drive element rub against each other during the dispense of a dose.

  • Patent number: 10149946
Abstract: An assembly for use in a drug delivery device includes a cartridge, a housing and a cartridge holder. The cartridge holder is releasably attached to the housing. The assembly includes a piston rod configured to move from a start position to an end position to dispense a dose of medication when the cartridge holder is attached to the housing, and the piston rod is configured to be reset to the start position when the cartridge holder is detached from the housing. The assembly further comprises a flexible element configured to axially fix the cartridge in the cartridge holder when the cartridge holder is attached to the housing. Furthermore, the assembly comprises a guiding element in threaded engagement with the piston rod. The flexible element is configured to fix the guiding element with respect to a housing of the drug delivery device when the cartridge holder is attached to the housing.

  • Patent number: 6981491
Abstract: A coupling valve structure 26 is provided for a fuel supply module 20. The module has a fuel pump 20 disposed in a fuel reservoir 18, a feed line 21 in fluid communication with an outlet of the fuel pump for feeding fuel to a high pressure pump 16 and thus to an engine, and a return line 22 for returning excess fuel from the engine or high pressure fuel pump to the reservoir 18. The coupling valve structure 26 includes a check valve 28 constructed and arranged to communicate with the feed line to permit fuel to be delivered to the engine and to prevent the fuel from draining back to the fuel pump, and a pressure relief valve 30 integrally connected with the check valve via a conduit 23.
