  • Patent number: 11518521
Abstract: An air supply system comprising at least two bleed sources configured to provide bleed air, wherein each bleed source comprises an engine or an auxiliary power unit and an oil as lubricant for the engine or the auxiliary power unit. The system also includes at least one air conditioning pack for cooling the bleed air from the bleed sources, and a plurality of bleed ducts, wherein each bleed duct connects one of the bleed sources to the at least one air conditioning pack. The system further comprises a plurality of detectors, wherein each detector is associated with a bleed source and the plurality of detectors are configured for detecting substances specific for the oil.

    Assignee: Airbus Operations GmbH
    Inventors: Andreas Bezold, Elodie Stuber
  • Patent number: 10900880
Abstract: A cabin air control system for an aircraft comprising a plurality of compressed air sources, each operable to provide compressed air, at least one air outlet, a conduit system connected to the air sources and the air outlet and arranged to conduct air from the air sources downstream to the air outlet, and a plurality of particulate matter detectors configured to detect the presence of particulate matter in air from the air sources. Each detector is associated with a different predefined subset of the air sources by being arranged in the conduit system at a location from which it is only possible to reach the associated subset of the air sources when traversing the conduit system from the respective location towards the air sources in an upstream direction. Any two subsets of the different subsets associated with the different particulate matter detectors include different ones of the air sources.

  • Publication number: 20200147417
Abstract: A device for supplying breathing gas to a user includes: a mask having a breathing opening; and a bag having a bag opening that is connected to the breathing opening in fluid communication, wherein the device further includes an adjustable exhalation valve, wherein the adjustable exhalation valve is in fluid communication with the bag. Thus, the device for supplying breathing gas to a user provides protection against hyperventilation, toxic gases and smoke.

  • Publication number: 20020052466
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for purifying low molecular weight isocyanates or isocyanate mixtures from chlorine compounds by extractively treating the low molecular weight isocyanates or isocyanate mixtures with an extraction agent containing near-critical and/or super-critical fluids or fluid mixtures at a temperature of 10° C. to 200° C., a pressure of 10 bar to 1,000 bar and a weight ratio of the extraction agent to the isocyanate or isocyanate mixture of 1 to 200, and separating the chlorine compounds from the extraction agent by reduction in pressure.
