  • Patent number: 10349839
Abstract: An implantable pressure sensor device (100) has a housing (10) which is at least partially made of a pressure transmitting membrane (20), and which includes one or more regions which can reversibly deform while maintaining the surface area of the membrane (20) when the internal volume of the housing (10) is changed. The housing (10) has a non-circular cross-section which can deform to a more circular shape when pressure in the internal volume increases. An inner housing is preferably situated within the housing, with its exterior spaced from the interior of the housing, and has its inner volume in fluid communication with the space between the housing and inner housing.

  • Publication number: 20190192290
Abstract: A catheter device for implanting an implant includes a self-expandable framework and an outer shaft having a capsule at a distal end. The capsule surrounds the framework such that they are displaceable relative to one another, which permits the framework to be released in sections. A released portion of the framework expands automatically and can be re-introduced into the capsule. A ring structure is displaceable in the distal direction (R?) beyond the capsule, such that an already released, expanded portion of the framework is contactable by the ring structure to limit axial forces exerted on the capsule and facilitate re-sheathing. The framework can be a self-expanding stent that supports a heart valve prosthesis.

  • Patent number: 10173054
Abstract: An implantable medical device including at least one elongate electrical line with a first electrical component as a functional conductor, and at least one second electrical component with an electrical length. The first electrical component includes a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the distal side is in electrical contact with tissue or blood. The first electrical component is in electrical contact with the at least one second electrical component, and wherein the electrical length of the at least one second component corresponds to at least a tenth of a wavelength (?/10) of electromagnetic waves in a radiofrequency range.

  • Publication number: 20180140206
Abstract: A medical implant for intravascular implantation has an implant housing and at least a first and a second conveying element. The first and the second conveying elements are arranged on the implant housing in one plane. The first conveying element is mounted rotatably about a first rotation axis and the second conveying element is mounted rotatably about a second rotation axis.

  • Patent number: 9913683
Abstract: A catheter arrangement including a catheter having a proximal end and a distal end and at least one continuous fluid channel, at the proximal end of which a fluid connection and at the distal end of which a nozzle is arranged, which has a cross section that can be varied by a force applied to the distal catheter end; a liquid feed unit, connected to the proximal fluid connection of the catheter feeds liquid into the at least one fluid channel at a predetermined operating pressure. A flow sensor measures, during operation of the catheter arrangement, a pressure drop at the fluid channel. A pressure evaluation unit, connected on the input side in a signal-based manner to the flow sensor, determines a force applied to the distal end of the catheter from the measured pressure drop at the fluid channel and from predetermined deformation characteristics of the associated nozzle.
