  • Publication number: 20060027264
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for extracting liquid samples from containers (1) and/or tubes filled with a medium (2), especially from fermenters, via a filter membrane (5) by means of a partial vacuum. Said filter membrane (5) arranged inside a sample probe (3) consists of a material acting as a sterile boundary, a supply line (6) which can be used to guide gas and a discharge line (7) which can be used to guide the sample being arranged on the sterile boundary side (5a) of the filter membrane (5).

  • Publication number: 20050093582
Abstract: A loss-of-signal (LOS) detector includes a variable gain amplifier with an input receiving an input signal, a threshold comparator with a first input receiving a signal derived from an output of the variable gain amplifier, a second input receiving a reference level and an output providing a loss-of-signal indication signal. The variable gain amplifier has a gain control input receiving a gain control signal derived from the output of the threshold comparator and such that the gain of the variable gain amplifier is set to a lower value when the loss-of-signal indication signal is active, and set to a higher value when the loss-of-signal indication signal is not active. Accordingly, the LOS detector needs only one decision level for both of the LOS and NotLOS decisions, which is set in the linear range of the signal detector so that the hysteresis is reproduced precisely.

  • Patent number: 5690762
Abstract: An emergency ring of elastic material for a vehicle wheel having a one-piece deep bed rim comprises a one-piece annular support body, which via support rings are supported exclusively on the rim bed of the wheel and is spaced apart from at least one side wall region or of a pneumatic tire. Reinforcement inlays are disposed radially such that there is only relatively little compressible elastic material within the reinforcement inlays. High security against rotation of the emergency ring relative to the rim is thereby assured. Moreover, the emergency ring is easily mounted and provides great security against a tire being thrown off, even when cornering with tires with low air pressure.

  • Patent number: 5216788
Abstract: A safety belt buckle for receiving and locking an insertion tongue is comprised of a casing having an insertion slot, an insertion tongue that is slidably mounted in the insertion slot and has a cutout, a spring-loaded ejector, arranged in the insertion slot and acting on the insertion tongue, and a locking device mounted inside the casing and cooperating with the cutout of the insertion tongue for locking the insertion tongue in the insertion slot in a locking position of the safety belt buckle. Furthermore, a spring-loaded sliding key is guided within the casing and comprises a sliding key body and a key button The key button is slidably connected to the sliding key body. The sliding key cooperates with the locking device to unlock the safety belt buckle.

  • Patent number: 5195224
Abstract: A safety belt buckle comprises a housing with an insertion path, a spring loaded ejector positioned in the insertion path, and a recess communicating with the insertion path. An insertion tongue with a cutout is insertable into the insertion path. A latch inside the housing locks the insertion tongue by engaging the cutout of the insertion tongue and the recess of the housing. A spring-loaded slide key is slidably connected to the housing and slidable in the direction transverse to a plane of movement of the latch. A spring-loaded slide key serves to release the latch. A compensation mass member is displaceably arranged within the housing for compensating acceleration forces acting on the safety belt buckle. A securing element is displaceably arranged within the housing such that the securing element secures the latch in its locking position and is movable into a release position by the slide key.

  • Patent number: 5163207
Abstract: A buckle for a safety belt, especially for motor vehicles, for receiving and locking an insertion tongue. A locking latch is provided that is biased in an opening direction and is pivotably mounted in a buckle housing such that in a locking position the locking latch extends into a recess of the insertion tongue. A locking bar is movably mounted in the housing at an angle to an insertion path of the insertion tongue, with the locking bar securing the locking latch in the locking position thereof. A sliding key is guided transverse to a plane of movement of the locking latch for cancelling the locking position thereof via actuation of the locking bar. To protect the buckle from shock, a compensating mass is mounted in the housing such that it is movable relative to the locking bar. The compensating mass serves for fixing the locking bar in position.

  • Patent number: 5133115
Abstract: A safety belt buckle with an anti-shock device is provided. The safety belt buckle comprises a housing that has an insertion slot for an insertion tongue with a cutout. A spring-loaded ejector for the insertion tongue is provided in the insertion slot. A latch is supported within the housing and cooperates with the cutout of the insertion tongue in a locking position of said safety belt buckle. The latch fastens the insertion tongue by engaging a respective recess provided at the housing. A sliding key which is loaded by a spring and is slidable in a direction that is transverse to a plane of movement of the latch is provided for releasing the latch from the locking position. A securing element that is slidably disposed within the housing for fixing and securing the latch in the locking position of the safety belt buckle is provided, whereby the securing element, for releasing the locking position of the safety belt buckle, is slidable by the sliding key into a release position of the latch.

  • Patent number: 5077871
Abstract: With a safety belt fastener for the take-up and latching of an insertion tongue having a housing and an insertion path for the insertion tongue, the insertion path being arranged in the housing and containing an ejector under spring action, having a latch guided in the fastener and cooperating with the tongue recess in the case of latching, the latch holding the insertion tongue in an associated recess of the fastener, and a spring-loaded shift key, guided at right angles to the movement plane of the latch, for the lifting of the latching device, the movement of which is composed of an unlatching stroke and a preceding idle stroke, simple anti-shock means are realized by providing in addition to the shift-key spring a further additional spring supported between a fastener part and the shift key, aligned in its spring force to oppose the insertion direction of the shift key and only active during the idle stroke of the shift key.

  • Patent number: 4835237
Abstract: Diorganopolysiloxanes containing triorganosiloxy groups as terminal units are prepared by mixing the diorganopolysiloxanes which may already contain triorganosiloxy terminal groups, after they have reached the desired average viscosity by condensation and/or equilibration in the presence of catalysts other than chlorophosphazenes, with a hexaorganodisilazane in an amount of from 0.05 to 2 percent by weight, based on the weight of the diorganopolysiloxanes employed and after mixing, a catalytic amount of a chlorophosphazene is added.
