  • Patent number: 12465926
Abstract: A gas filter that includes a filter medium configured to filter a gas flow propagating from an upstream facing side through the filter medium to a downstream facing side. The filter medium includes a capacitor with a first electrode, a second electrode , and a dielectric medium. The gas filter also includes a first electrical contact and a second electrical contact such that if the first electrical contact is electrically connected via a first resistor to a branching point and the second electrical contact is electrically connected via a second resistor the same branching point. Further, the first electrode is preferably electrically connected to such branching point and the second electrode is preferably electrically connected to the second electrical contact.

  • Publication number: 20250276329
Abstract: A gas cleaning device includes a first electrode and a second electrode, a first filter medium with a first side and a second side such that the first side faces towards the first electrode and the second side faces towards the second electrode. The use of such device allows to combine in practice two cleaning methodologies—the Active Field Polarized Media Air Cleaning and the corona discharge air cleaning—if a corona discharge electrode is located at a distance from the first electrode while the first electrode is between the corona discharge electrode and the first filter medium.

  • Patent number: 12358003
Abstract: A gas cleaning device including a filter cartridge with a filter medium and a first filter terminal, a duct with a filter support that removably supports the filter cartridge in a volume of the duct in between the gas inlet and the gas outlet of the duct, and a gas ionizer that provides enhanced intrinsic safety against malfunction, ozone release and electric shocks of maintenance personnel. When the filter cartridge is inserted into the filter support, the first duct terminal contacts the first filter terminal and the first ionizer terminal is electrically connected with the first duct terminal via the first filter terminal. If the filter cartridge is removed from the filter support, the electrical connection between the gas ionizer and the duct terminal is interrupted.
