  • Patent number: 11163405
Abstract: A touch-sensitive and/or proximity-sensitive input device has an operator panel, a sensor film and a carrier plate, arranged on a side of the operator panel that is facing away from a user. The sensor film has at least one capacitive sensor area and also at least one antenna element. Provided on the carrier plate are a sensor circuit that is connected to the capacitive sensor areas and an antenna circuit that is connected to the antenna element. Such an input device can be used for example in electronic domestic appliances or commercial laundry treatment appliances.

  • Patent number: 7987738
Abstract: A rotary selector forms a control element for inputting a setting value to an electronic control system, in particular for a control device of an electronic domestic appliance, such as a washing machine, a dishwasher, or the like. The rotary selector has a rotatably mounted control portion and an adapter non-rotatably connected to the control portion. The adapter has a latching section with side faces arranged uniformly about its periphery. Coaxially with the latching section of the adapter is a stationary spring element formed with elastic legs arranged uniformly about a periphery of the latching section and which extend tangentially relative to the side faces of the latching section. The number of the side faces of the latching section is an integral multiple of the number of the elastic legs of the spring element.

  • Publication number: 20050155394
Abstract: A plastic housing for an electric or electronic circuit to be disposed in an electrical or electronic appliance. The plastic housing is configured such that the circuit is held in the housing in a fire-resistant fashion. The housing contains at least two housing elements which are releasably connected together. The housing has a first housing element formed of a fire-resistant plastic material and a second housing element formed of a non-fire-resistant plastic material. The second housing element of non-fire-resistant plastic material has at least one flap connected by a film hinge to the remaining part of the housing element. The electrical or electronic appliance is preferably a water-carrying domestic appliance, in particular a washing machine, a laundry drier or a washer-drier.
