  • Publication number: 20220016865
Abstract: The invention preferably relates to a method for stiffening a sheet element. In this regard, the method preferably comprises a first step of providing stiffening modules comprising a flange and at least one web. Furthermore, the stiffening modules are preferably attached to the sheet element sequentially along a load path, wherein the stiffening modules are connected to each other via their respective flanges using connecting means and/or joining methods for a positive, frictional and/or materially bonded connection to form a stiffening structure, such that the stiffening modules have a combined effect, specifically stiffening and reinforcing the sheet element. The invention also preferably relates to a stiffening structure for a sheet element comprising a plurality of stiffening modules arranged sequentially, and to a stiffening system comprising a stiffening structure and a sheet element.

  • Publication number: 20200412669
Abstract: Deadlocks in a multi-protocol heterogeneous packet-based transport system are avoided while maintaining real-time aspects. When receiving a plurality of packets from a root complex where contents of each packet from the plurality of packets organized in accordance with a first protocol, a sequence number is added to each packet and a packet type is identified. Every packet in the first plurality of packets is encapsulated into at least one packet organized in accordance with a second protocol to form a second plurality of packets organized in accordance with the second protocol. All the packets from the second plurality of packets are sent via a plurality of connections so that each connection from the plurality of connections only transports packets from the second plurality of packets that encapsulate packets from the first plurality that have a same packet type.

  • Publication number: 20200371242
Abstract: The proposed method for operating a laser distance measuring device, in particular a hand-held laser distance measuring device, is based on a method in which laser radiation is emitted to a target point by means of an emitter unit, laser radiation reflected back from the target point is detected by a receiver unit with a detection surface, at least one image of at least one target environment of the target point is captured by at least one camera, and a representation of the image, overlaid with a marking of the target point, is displayed on a screen of the laser distance measuring device. According to the disclosure, a parallax error in the representation of the image, overlaid with a marking of the target point, is corrected according to an estimated distance to the target point. The disclosure also relates to a corresponding laser distance measuring device.

  • Patent number: 10848442
Abstract: For secure transport, when receiving a plurality of packets from a root complex where contents of each packet from the plurality of packets organized in accordance with a first protocol, a sequence number is added to each packet and a packet type is identified. Every packet in the first plurality of packets is encrypted and encapsulated into at least one packet organized in accordance with a second protocol to form a second plurality of packets organized in accordance with the second protocol. All the packets from the second plurality of packets are sent via a plurality of connections so that each connection from the plurality of connections only transports packets from the second plurality of packets that encapsulate packets from the first plurality that have a same packet type.

  • Patent number: 10476352
Abstract: A housing configuration for an electric machine includes a housing having a stator receiving region with a wall. A stator is disposed in the stator receiving region of the housing and a sleeve is pushed onto the stator. A cooling jacket surrounds the stator for liquid cooling of the stator. The cooling jacket has a radially outer cooling-jacket surface and a radially inner cooling-jacket surface with a gap between the radially outer cooling-jacket surface and the radially inner cooling-jacket surface. The wall of the stator receiving region forms the radially outer cooling-jacket surface of the cooling jacket. The sleeve forms the radially inner cooling-jacket surface of the cooling jacket. Bilaterally acting seal carriers are inserted into the gap between the radially outer cooling-jacket surface and the radially inner cooling-jacket surface. The bilaterally acting seal carriers provide an axial sealing of the cooling jacket. An electric machine is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10176421
Abstract: This disclosure includes a method for manufacturing a portable data carrier, an inlay for a data carrier, and a data carrier. A data carrier body has a gap for a chip and a chip is incorporated into the gap. In a subsequent step a cover layer is laid on the data carrier body, and the data carrier body and the cover layer are laminated. After the incorporation of the chip and before the lamination, a stabilizing agent is applied into the gap of the core layer, which remains soft or flexible during the lamination and cures or is activated (e.g. by means of UV radiation) only after the lamination, in order for mechanical tensions to be avoided.
