  • Patent number: 8422032
Abstract: Chronologically correlated position pairs are generated in a position determination method using a unit, particularly a working machine (4), that changes its own position, having a GNSS receiver (2) and an optically measurable reference point (A) disposed in a spatially stationary manner, particularly an all-around prism (3), and having a geodetic device with a distance- and angle-measuring functionality, particularly a tacheometer (1). To this end, relative positions of the reference point (A) are determined in an interior reference system by optically measuring distance and at least one angle of the geodetic device to the reference point (A) and GNSS positions of the GNSS receiver in an exterior reference system. Equal times, or relative and GNSS positions allocated to a time frame are associated with each other, particularly in pairs, thus forming position pairs.

  • Patent number: 8294884
Abstract: The invention relates to a sideways drift correction device for a mobile production machine comprising a removal of material and a tool for processing the removed material, having a sensor component and an evaluation component. The sensor component detects the structure of at least one part of the underground surface relative to which the production machine moves. The evaluation component determines the relative motion direction of a reference point on the production machine relative to the subsoil from the time-variable information of the underground surface, and derives steering correction information therefrom.

  • Patent number: 7643923
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to monitor the travel way of a road processing machine that drives on a basic surface as well as the working height of a working part which is disposed thereon in a vertically adjustable manner. Said aim is achieved by detecting the three-dimensional position of a positional element, determining a direction of travel from at least two three-dimensional positions, and determining the working height of the working part. The determined direction of travel is compared to a setpoint direction while the working height is compared to a setpoint height. The positional element is placed in a position that is at a horizontal distance from the working part.

  • Patent number: 6997215
Abstract: The method for weaving low flaw cloths (4) comprises an elimination of weft thread sections which have irregularities (22, 22?). The method is carried out by means of a weaving machine (1) which in the presence of an irregularity on a weft thread (2) to be woven can be controlled in such a manner that at least one weft thread section which comprises the irregularity can be removed from the cloth being formed after an insertion operation. The irregularity is in each case detected by a sensor (23a, 23b, 23c) prior to the feeding in of the weft thread into a thread store (21). After the detection of the irregularity an incorporation of the weft thread into the cloth is prevented in that a shed forming apparatus (100), for example a dobby for the moving of heald frames (10), is controlled in such a manner that that all warp threads (3) of the cloth to be formed are deflected either downwardly or upwardly into positions to the side of a weft thread insertion line (2?).
