Abstract: A method is provided for arranging a high-voltage accumulator having a plurality of battery modules on a support structure of a motor vehicle, in which the battery modules are arranged and fastened on a base plate, and the base plate is fastened on a bottom plate of the support structure of the motor vehicle, as a result of which the base plate and the bottom plate provide an accumulator housing which delimits an accumulator interior in which the battery modules are accommodated. At least one connection field is mechanically connected to the support structure. The connection field is able to electrically and/or fluidically connect the high-voltage accumulator to the motor vehicle.

Abstract: An underbody module for a motor vehicle includes a left side element and a right side element, wherein the side elements extend in a longitudinal direction and are connected on the end sides by transverse elements, as a result of which an upper contact surface and a lower contact surface are formed. A floor element is arranged on the upper contact surface. A cover element is arranged or can be arranged on the lower contact surface, as a result of which an arrangement space is formed or can be formed between the floor element and the cover element, wherein the floor element is arranged in a gas-tight manner.

A housing interior of the accumulator housing is delimited by a bottom part of the support structure, which bottom part covers the frame structure toward a passenger compartment of the motor vehicle, and by the housing part and the frame structure.
