Abstract: A sampling and/or injecting device (100) comprising an elongated tubular housing (101) and a sampling and/or injecting arrangement (105) comprising a piercing element (106) configured to engage a sampling and/or injecting area (103) and a sampling and/or injecting element (107) configured for automatically collecting a body fluid sample from said sampling and/or injecting area (103) and/or injecting a substance in said sampling and/or injecting area (103). A securing element (102) is disposed at a distal end of the tubular housing (101) and a sealing element (110) is disposed within or around the securing element (102). An activator (113) is configured to activate automatic movement of the piercing element (106) to and/or from the sampling and/or injecting area (103) after attachment of the securing element (102) to the sampling and/or injecting area (103).
