Patent number: 10037071Abstract: A computing device apparatus facilitates use of a deep low power mode that includes powering off the device's CPU by including a software routine configured to be run by the CPU that effects saving to a non-volatile memory a state of the CPU and/or the device's peripherals before entering the deep low-power mode. The software routine can be configured to control this state storage in response to detecting a low power event, i.e., loss of power sufficient to run the CPU, or a software command to enter the deep low power mode to save power as part of an efficiency program. Then, upon wake up from the deep low power mode, the software routine is first run by the CPU to effect restoring from the non-volatile memory the state of the CPU and the peripherals before execution of a primary application for the central processing unit.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 2015Date of Patent: July 31, 2018Assignee: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INCORPORATEDInventors: Andreas Dannenberg, Brent Peterson, Aik K. Patent number: 9139994Abstract: Toilets of a toilet system on board a vehicle are supplied with flushing agent from decentralized supply devices. Disposal of the wastewater takes place by way of a central disposal device. Thus, a toilet system without central supply of the toilets with flushing agent is stated, as a result of which weight may be saved.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2011Date of Patent: September 22, 2015Assignee: AIRBUS OPERATIONS GMBHInventor: Andreas Dannenberg

Patent number: 8858878Abstract: A water system for a vehicle is provided. The water system comprises at least one water supply source, at least one water-conducting device, at least one closing valve and at least one germ reduction connection. The germ reduction connection and the water supply source are connected to the water-conducting device. The germ reduction connection is designed to introduce a germ-reducing fluid into the water-conducting device. The closing valve is arranged between the water supply source and the germ reduction connection and is designed to be fully closed thus preventing the ingress of germ-reducing fluid into the water supply source. By means of such a water system it is possible to carry out sterilization or disinfection very easily and quickly without this requiring any major maintenance work.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2012Date of Patent: October 14, 2014Assignee: Airbus Operations GmbHInventors: Timo Risch, Thorsten Otto, Claus Hoffjann, Andreas Dannenberg, Christiane Lindauer
