  • Patent number: 9212568
Abstract: The invention relates to a control system for matching the output of a steam turbine (2) to a changed load, in particular for the short-term matching of the output of a power plant steam turbine (2) to changed network loads within the context of primary control. The control system according to the invention is characterized by a heat store (33) which, when there is an increased volume of steam tapped off from the steam turbine (2) under a correspondingly reduced load, extracts heat from the steam and which, when there is a reduced quantity of steam tapped off from the steam turbine under a correspondingly increased load, gives up heat to a steam/feed water circuit supplying the steam turbine (2).

  • Patent number: 9151489
Abstract: An electrolytic power plant using an electrolysis device which requires one part of the electric energy which is produced by the power plant. The electrolysis device forms a variable load for the constant control network frequency and produces hydrogen and oxygen. The power plant has an oxygen pump, a buffer container, an oxygen distribution line, and an oxygen pump that are used for the accumulated oxygen.

  • Patent number: 8533162
Abstract: An object detection method that is provided with a step for extracting a plurality of reference feature vectors related to a local area from an image representing an object, and extracting a plurality of query feature vectors related to the local area from a search query image; a step for matching each query feature vector against each reference feature vector, and calculating a similarity score having a value that is higher the closer the distance between both vectors, the larger the local area for which the query feature vector has been extracted, and the larger the local area for which a matching reference feature vector has been extracted; a step for determining a reference feature vector for which a similarity score is highest as the similar vector for each query feature vector; and a step for acquiring a final score by object associated with the similar vectors, and setting the object returning the highest score as the detection result; and wherein the score is calculated by dividing a sum of the simila

  • Patent number: 7737578
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for supporting the frequency in an electricity network (5) during a sudden modification of the network load and/or generating power. According to the invention, modifications of the network load and/or generating power, which cause the network frequency to deviate from a predefined value, are compensated by a modification of an additional load (6). Said additional load (6) is preferably configured by a large number of hydrogen-producing electrolysis units (7), which can be activated or deactivated for the successive modification of the additional load.
