  • Publication number: 20060108223
Abstract: The invention relates to a measuring device having a penetrating electrode. Said elongated electrode of the measuring device is movably mounted in axial direction thereof. In case of a load or a shock, it can absorb said load to a given degree in the housing of said measuring device. Said shock-absorbing characteristic makes it possible to largely prevent breaking of the first electrode that is preferably configured in the form of a glass electrode. The invention also relates to a measuring device, to a method for the production and the application of said measuring device.

  • Patent number: 7025516
Abstract: The invention relates to a multilayer printing material (20) for a printing group (10) of a printer, comprising a support layer (21) and at least one printable layer (22), self-adhesive on one face, that rests with its self-adhesive face (23) on a contact area of the support layer (21) in an adhesive manner. Said layer can be detached from the contact area and has at least one printable face (25). At least one break point (24) is provided on the support layer (21) and is adapted to substantially compensate for any differences in length caused by the difference in length of the support layer (21) relative to the printable layer (22) when the printing material (20) passes through the printing group (10). The invention further relates to the use of the inventive printing material.

  • Publication number: 20050029459
Abstract: The present invention relates to a radiometer comprising an IR detector, a lens and a light source. The lens is arranged with respect to the IR detector such that it focuses IR radiation from a measuring surface to the detector. The light source emits visible light for marking the measuring surface. The beam path of the visible light extends through the lens. Moreover, the invention relates to a sighting device for a radiometer for visibly marking a measuring surface the temperature of which is measured by the radiometer. The sighting device comprises a light source for emitting a visible light beam, which marks the measuring surface. A piezoactuator controls the direction of the light beam. As an alternative to the piezoactuator, the light beam may be guided at a constant angular velocity, and a stepwise change of the direction of the light beam may be accomplished by a sectorized mirror. The invention finally relates to corresponding methods.

  • Publication number: 20040125363
Abstract: The invention relates to a portable refractometer comprising a depression (7) for samples, located on an insertion tip (11) in such a way that once the insertion tip (11) has penetrated a liquid or a fruit, a sufficient quantity of the sample liquid remains in the depression (7) for samples, thus wetting a measuring surface (4) that is delimited in said depression by a transparent body. The refractive index of the wetting liquid can be determined by measuring the intensity of an optical beam that is reflected by the measuring surface (4).
