  • Publication number: 20150316266
Abstract: A burner (1) with a longitudinal burner axis (2) and a mixing channel (3, 4), formed in an annular manner around the longitudinal burner axis (2), for the mixing of fuel and air. Each mixing channel is bounded radially on the inside by a channel hub (5, 6) and radially on the outside by a channel outer wall (7, 8). A fuel concentration distribution in the mixing channel (3, 4) from the channel hub (5, 6) to the channel outer wall (7, 8) being adjustable by adjusting the introduction of fuel to provide an adjustable fuel concentration distribution at respective radial locations across each mixing claimed. Also a combustion system (20) with a burner (1) and to a method for operating a burner (1).

  • Patent number: 9086219
Abstract: A regulating device for regulating the course of a gas turbine plant has at least one sensor for sensing a measurement variable and for outputting a measurement signal which represents the measurement variable; at least one adjusting system for influencing air and/or fuel supply to a combustion chamber of the gas turbine plant on the basis of a correcting variable; and a regulator connected to the at least one sensor so as to receive the measurement variable and to the at least one adjusting system for outputting the correcting variable, the regulator being designed to determine the correcting variable on the basis of the measurement variable received and its deviation from a pilot variable. At least one sensor is designed to sense the variation in time of at least one burner or combustion chamber parameter as measurement variable.

  • Patent number: 8307627
Abstract: A process is disclosed for monitoring the formation of deposits of solid particles in a fuel line having a valve. A measure for the deposits of solid particles in the fuel line is determined by determining the degree of opening of the valve passage and the quantity of fuel flowing through the valve, and by comparing them with a previously determined control value which characterizes the deposit-free line. Also disclosed is a device for monitoring the formation of deposits of solid particles in a fuel line having a valve, the device having a measurement system for determining the current fuel flow and a measurement system for determining the current valve position, as well as an evaluation system connected to the measurement systems. Also disclosed is a combustion chamber comprising a device and operated by a process according to the invention, and a gas turbine with said combustion chamber.
