  • Patent number: 11118395
Abstract: A sealing device of a sliding door having a slidably mounted door leaf has a drop-down seal having a sealing strip and a lowering mechanism for automatically lowering and raising the sealing strip. The lowering occurs against a restoring force. The sealing device also has an activation unit for activating the drop-down seal. The activation unit has a contact surface, which is directed upward in the lowering direction, and a contact element, which lies against said contact surface during the closing of the door leaf and thereby actuates the drop-down seal. In this way, the weight of the door leaf can be used for the lowering of the sealing strip. Furthermore, a position in which the restoring force does not influence a sliding motion of the door leaf in the longitudinal direction of the sealing strip can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20200182748
Abstract: A test strip for checking a contact pressure of a seal has a checking element. By means of the checking element, the test strip indicates whether the contact pressure is less than or greater than specified contact pressure. The test strip indicates whether the contact pressure lies within a specified range. There preferably two weakening lines for this purpose, which tear at different contact pressures when tension is applied while the test strip is clamped.

  • Publication number: 20200149344
Abstract: A sealing device for a door has a housing rail, a sealing strip which is held in the housing rail, with a carrier rail and with a sealing profile, and a drop-down mechanism for raising and lowering the sealing strip. The drop-down mechanism is fastened to the housing rail in a first fastening point and to the carrier rail in a second fastening point. The second fastening point allows a displacement of the sealing strip in the longitudinal direction of the sealing device and relative to the housing rail. This allows simple adaption to door situations in situ, with it being possible particular for the drop-down seal to be shortened to a desired length without the carrier rail then protruding too far.

  • Publication number: 20190277084
Abstract: A finger guard device for a pivotable leaf door has a roller screen housing, a roller screen web which has a fastening means, and a mounting profile. The finger guard device can be fastened to a door frame by means of the housing and to the leaf door by means of the mounting profile. The fastening means of the roller screen web can be connected detachably to the mounting profile so that the roller screen web covers a gap between the door leaf and the door frame when the finger guard device is used as intended. The mounting profile has a supporting leg for placing on and fastening to the door leaf. The mounting profile is in the form of an angled profile and has a fastening leg, which projects beyond the supporting leg, for detachably fastening the fastening means of the roller screen web.

  • Publication number: 20190136609
Abstract: A sealing device of a sliding door with a displaceably mounted door leaf has a lowering seal with a sealing strip and with an actuating mechanism for automatically lowering and raising the sealing strip. The sealing device has an activating unit for activating the lowering seal, wherein the activating unit has a first contact surface, a pivotably designed contact element and a pivotably designed force transmission element. Upon closing of the door leaf, the contact element contacts the first contact surface and moves, during the closing movement of the door leaf, with pivoting of the contact element, along the first contact surface. A pivoting movement of the contact element results in a pivoting movement of the force transmission element, with the result that the latter actuates the lowering seal.

  • Publication number: 20180320437
Abstract: A sealing unit for a sliding door has a lowering seal and a catch element (6). A mechanism (7, 4, 8) is designed to convert a sliding movement of a first sliding door element (T) relative to a second sliding door element (B) into a movement of a sealing strip arrangement (2, 3) that occurs substantially transversely to the sliding movement. The mechanism (7, 4, 8) has a rotatable or pivotable pick-up element (70) for picking up the sliding movement. In order to lower the seal, the pick-up element (70) lies on the catch element (6) in the lowering direction such that the weight force of the door thus assists the lowering operation.
