Abstract: A module housing made of an electrically insulating plastic material is disclosed. The module housing has a foam body made of an electrically insulating foam material, the foam body having substantially cylindrical receptacles for round cells. The module housing includes axial stops aligned with the receptacles for cell cups of the round cells and recesses for positive terminals of the round cells. The module housing may be used in a battery module.
