  • Patent number: 8868386
Abstract: An enabled task accessed by a user within a workflow is identified. The workflow is expressed as a Petri net and includes enabled tasks and non-enabled tasks. A non-enabled task selected by a user is identified, and a suitable state that enables the non-enabled state is determined based on the identified enabled task. A simulated workflow for the selected non-enabled task is generated based on the determined suitable state. The simulated workflow is expressed as a Petri net. The user is enabled to navigate through the simulated workflow.

    Assignee: SAP SE
Inventors: Andreas Faatz, Eicke Godehardt, Markus Doehring, Manuel Goertz
  • Patent number: 7849078
Abstract: Generating searchable keywords includes obtaining sets of parameters that include weights, where the weights correspond to actions for changing first words into predicted keywords, using the sets of parameters to obtain predicted keywords from the first words, determining a prediction value for each set of parameters, where the prediction values are based on an extent to which predicted keywords for a set of parameters match predefined keywords, ranking the sets of parameters based on prediction values, and applying a selected set of parameters to a second word to obtain a new keyword, wherein the selected set of parameters is applied based on rank.

  • Publication number: 20080077920
Abstract: A system for suggesting training includes generating a process flow model made-up of tasks, identifying a target task in the process flow model that fails or is not performed according to one or more predefined criteria, identifying critical tasks which are necessary to perform the target task, and suggesting training for critical tasks.
