  • Patent number: 11714768
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a unit for a bus system, a master/slave bus system with such units, and a method for assigning individual unit addresses for units of a bus system, wherein through the use of an enable signal, which is relayed from unit to unit, only one unit is respectively in an allocation mode in which the unit that is respectively in the allocation mode is allocated an individual unit address so that the units of the bus system can each be allocated with the unique individual address one after the other in the sequence of their cabling.

  • Patent number: 11486407
Abstract: A control device and a method for controlling a system having at least two fans (1) and/or fan groups for generating a defined setpoint value (VG,setpoint, ?pG,setpoint), wherein, by changing the operating points of at least one fan (1) depending on which setpoint value is fixedly predetermined, at least one of the fans (1) is brought to an optimal operating point and thereby the efficiency ?G of the system is increased.

  • Publication number: 20220292034
Abstract: A master-slave system with n slave units serially connected via a bus line, each slave unit having a control input for receiving an input signal from the output of the preceding slave unit in the series and a control output for sending an output signal to the following slave unit in the series; wherein the control input of the first slave unit is not signaled; each slave unit having an address memory, designed to store a collective broadcast address and/or an individual unit address; and wherein a control line is provided between two serially successive slave units, which respectively connects the control output of the preceding slave unit in the series to the control input of the following slave unit, in such a manner that the output signal at the control output is at the same time the input signal at the control input of the following slave unit.

  • Patent number: 11181118
Abstract: A method for controlling a fan group in order to generate a predefined total volumetric flow. The group of fans has a plurality of individual fans operated in parallel. Each generates an individual volumetric flow. The group of fans is divided into at least a first and a second control group. Each group has at least one fan. The individual volumetric flow of at least one fan of the first control group is increased by adjusting into a range of optimum efficiency by a speed change. This maintains constant flow. The individual volumetric flow of at least one fan of the second control group is reduced accordingly by a rotational speed reduction. All the fans contribute to the total volume flow at all times and no fan of the second control group will be switched off at any time.

  • Patent number: 9880950
Abstract: A master-slave system includes a master unit having a digital output for providing a signal or a serial signal sequence of signals, and at least two slave units. Each of the slave units includes at least one digital serial memory having a size of one bit, and each slave unit includes an input and an output. The slave units are serially connected to one another via the inputs and the outputs via a signal line (5). The output of a first slave unit is connected via the signal line to the digital output of the master unit. The master slave system is configured so that a signal supplied by the digital output is detected at the input of the slave unit, in order to raise the address of the corresponding slave unit in each case by the value “1”, to store the signal change in the memory and to output a signal corresponding to the content of the memory at the output of the memory.
