    Abstract: A scanning unit for determining a relative angular position of an angular scale that is rotatable about an axis relative to the scanning unit includes a circuit board and evaluation electronics. A detector assembly is disposed in a manner that enables scanning of the angular scale. A contact carrier encloses electrical contacts for creating a plug-and-socket connection. The contact carrier has an outer wall and is mounted on the circuit board such that the electrical contacts extend in a direction having an axial component. A housing body is provided with an opening having an inner wall. A first elastic element is disposed under radial preload such that the contact carrier is centered with respect to the inner wall of the opening. The circuit board is torsionally rigidly attached to the housing body such that the circuit board is radially spaced therefrom by a first gap.

    Abstract: Systems and associated methods of treating diesel exhaust in a vehicle are disclosed. An example method includes providing an exhaust aftertreatment device in an exhaust tailpipe, and a first nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor upstream of the exhaust aftertreatment device, with the exhaust aftertreatment device configured to reduce NOx present in an exhaust flow through the exhaust aftertreatment device with a treatment fluid applied to the exhaust flow. This example method may also include measuring a concentration of NOx in the exhaust flow with the first sensor, determining an error in the measurement of the NOx concentration, and applying a learning corrective adjustment in a subsequent measurement of the NOx concentration in the exhaust flow in response to that determination. A first magnitude of the learning corrective adjustment may be based at least in part upon a second magnitude of the error in the measurement.
