  • Patent number: 11751320
Abstract: An automation field device comprises a housing that surrounds an inner space; a sensor- and/or actuator element arranged at the housing; an electronic circuit arranged in the housing and having a round, outer contour and a plurality of spring contacts in an edge region. The inner contour of the housing and the edge contour of the first circuit board are adapted to one another so that the first circuit board is introducible into the housing with a main plane orthogonal to a longitudinal axis of the housing. The spring contacts are so arranged on the first circuit board and embodied to hold the first circuit board in the inner space and to produce an electrical connection between the first circuit board and the housing to drain away disturbance currents from the first circuit board.

  • Patent number: 11586165
Abstract: Disclosed is a field device electronics for a field device of automation engineering, comprising: first and second terminals for connecting the field device electronics to a cable for an electrical input current to the field device electronics; a series regulator to set the input current; a shunt regulator following the series regulator; a first capacitance connected in parallel with the shunt regulator for energy storage; a supply circuit connected in parallel with the shunt regulator and the first capacitance for providing an operating voltage; and connected after the supply circuit and supplied by the operating voltage, a control unit adapted to register a buffer voltage lying across the first capacitance, based on the registered buffer voltage, to make a decision concerning at least one part of the field device electronics.

  • Patent number: 8598865
Abstract: A measuring device with at least one control unit and an electrical current controller. The measuring- and operating electronics is connected to a current loop and the control unit is connected with the electrical current controller and provides the electrical current controller a reference input. The reference input corresponds to a desired value of the measurement signal current and the electrical current controller is suppliable with a primary feedback signal. The primary feedback signal corresponds to an actual value of the measurement signal current set in the current loop. The electrical current controller outputs a control signal formed from a control error signal, wherein at least one evaluation unit is provided, which compares at least one value of the control signal output by the electrical current controller with at least one reference value. The comparison indicates whether the value of the control signal exceeds or subceeds the reference value.
