  • Patent number: 9239302
Abstract: A method of analyzing particles of a material which include a constituent is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of exposing particles of the material to x radiation having a range of x-radiation energies, detecting x-radiation intensities at two different energy levels transmitted through the particles, and determining the concentration of the constituent in particles from the detected intensities.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 8, 2009
Date of Patent: January 19, 2016
    Assignee: Technological Resources Pty. Limited

  • Patent number: 7318304
Abstract: Pairs of first and second rolls are supported for rotation in a roll frame located below a pan for receiving pharmaceutical products loaded as bulk material, each first roll having a plurality of axially successive non-cylindrical sections separated from respective non-cylindrical sections of a respective second roll by a gap, the first and second rolls of each pair being rotated in opposite directions so that surfaces of the rolls facing the gap move upwards. An isolating block having a matrix array of isolating channels is positioned below the rolls for receiving pharmaceutical products from respective gaps and for distributing these products to respective individual wells of a blister pack in a single machine cycle.

  • Publication number: 20060191953
Abstract: A device for introducing a plurality of solid pharmaceutical products selected from the group consisting of tablets, two-part capsules, sugar-coated pills, gelatin capsules, and oblongs along a path into blister packs includes a distributing device having a roll frame, and at least one pair of first and second rolls mounted on the roll frame and rotatable in opposite directions, the first and second rolls having respective non-cylindrical sections facing one another and spaced apart so as to define a gap configured to provide a passage for each individual pharmaceutical product, wherein the first and second rolls rotate in opposite directions.

  • Patent number: 6122343
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for analyzing a material, such as coal and iron ore, particularly with a view to identifying contaminants, is disclosed. The method and apparatus are based on the use of multiple (particularly dual) energy x-ray analysis with x-rays at different photon energies. X-rays are transmitted through a material and the detected x-rays are processed to produce an image of the material that combines together the separated images produced by the different photon energy x-rays. The combined image has enhanced contrast which minimizes the affects of non-compositional factors that otherwise would affect identifying constituents of the material.

  • Patent number: 5863462
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel SiCN gels, which are obtained by reacting silylcarbodiimides R.sub.3 Si--NCN--SiR.sub.3 (R=alkyl, aryl) with silanes RSiX.sub.3 (R=H, alkyl, aryl; X=F, Cl, Br, I), and the use thereof to produce non-oxidic silicon ceramics.
