  • Patent number: 10981292
Abstract: A handheld work apparatus includes a drive motor, an operating-fluid tank and a motor carrier on which the drive motor is held. The operating-fluid tank has a first housing section and a second housing section. The first housing section is realized so as to be integral with the motor carrier. At least a portion of the second housing section is formed from light-transmitting material to permit discerning the fill level of the operating-fluid tank. The motor carrier has a light-transmitting light conductive element for conducting light into the operating-fluid tank.

  • Patent number: 9550651
Abstract: A coil support with a coil of a trimmer line has a coil core with an outer wall surface and first and second axial ends. At the axial ends securing elements that project past the wall surface of the coil core are provided for positional fixation of the coil wound onto the coil core. A securing element provided at the first axial end is a support plate with a longitudinal center axis. The size of the support plate is provided in the direction of the longitudinal center axis with a greater extension than transverse to the longitudinal center axis such that the support plate in a first radial direction of the coil core is greater than in a second radial direction. The coil core is fixedly connected with the support plate and with the further securing elements that are provided on the second axial end.

  • Publication number: 20170002861
Abstract: A bearing assembly for a drive shaft guided in a protective tube is provided with bearing tube segments arranged in the protective tube one after another in a longitudinal direction of the protective tube. The bearing tube segments are penetrated by the drive shaft. The bearing tube segments include bearing sections. The bearing sections are provided with a central bearing sleeve and support elements projecting away from an outer circumference of the bearing sleeve. The bearing sleeve is radially supported by the support elements on an inner circumference of the protective tube. The bearing section with its bearing sleeve and support elements is formed as one piece. The bearing tube segments have a length measured in a longitudinal direction of the protective tube and the sum of the lengths of the bearing tube segments is greater than 60% of a length of the protective tube.
