Abstract: The present disclosure provides a measurement application control device comprising a communication interface, a unified communication controller configured to establish at least one communication connection to a unified network communication partner over the communication interface, and a measurement application configured to establish at least one application data connection according to a specific communication pattern to at least one application communication partner via the unified communication controller, and to exchange measurement application data with the at least one application communication partner via the at least one application data connection, wherein the unified communication controller is configured to enclose the at least one application data connection in the at least one communication connection for provision of the measurement application data to the respective application communication partner by the unified network communication partner.
