  • Publication number: 20240424910
Abstract: A computer system is provided. The computer system comprises processing circuitry configured to: for each one of a pre-set positive speed value and a pre-set negative speed value: controlling the speed of an electrical machine to the pre-set speed value, short circuiting the electrical machine, and determining d,q currents and angular velocity of a rotor of the electrical machine during deceleration from the pre-set speed value, and wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to: determining a resolver offset based on the determined d, q currents and the determined angular velocity of the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20240351443
Abstract: A computer system includes processing circuitry configured to: determine a first average of a measured current load angle of an electrical machine and a first average of a correct current load angle of the electrical machine for a plurality of positive speed values within a positive speed interval, determine a second average of the measured current load angle of the electrical machine and a second average of the correct current load angle of the electrical machine for a plurality of negative speed values within a negative speed interval, determine a resolver offset error of the electrical machine from the first and second average of the measured current load angle, and determine a resolver delay error of the electrical machine from the first and second average of the measured current load angle, from the first and second average of the correct current load angle, and from the rotor speed.

  • Patent number: 12066504
Abstract: A method performed by a control unit for determining an indication of whether three phase cables are correctly or erroneously connected between power electronics and an electrical machine comprised in an at least partly electrically operated vehicle or vessel. The control unit triggers generation of a current vector in the electrical machine from a voltage vector. The voltage vector has a voltage angle. When the current vector has a reached a current amplitude reference, the control unit obtains a current angle of the current vector and signs of derivatives of the voltage angle and the current angle. Based on the signs of derivatives, the control unit determines an indication of whether or not the phase cables are correctly or erroneously connected.

  • Publication number: 20230047444
Abstract: A vehicle motion management system (260) for a vehicle, the vehicle motion management system being connectable to a motion support system (230230) for communication of control signals therebetween, wherein the vehicle motion management system is configured to: —determine a desired torque for operating the vehicle at a current vehicle operating condition; —determine a wheel slip limit for at least one wheel of the vehicle; —determine, based at least on the wheel slip limit, a wheel speed limit for the at least one wheel of the vehicle; and—transmit a control signal indicative of the desired torque and the wheel speed limit to the motion support system (230).
