  • Publication number: 20100028637
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-layer film comprising a barrier layer, a poorly extensible plastic layer, and an antistatic plastic layer arranged on the side of the barrier layer, opposing the poorly extensible plastic layer. According to the invention, either a layer of material that is generally recognised as safe in terms of food is arranged next to the antistatic plastic layer, opposing the barrier layer, said layer of material being between 5 and 20 ?m thick, and the antistatic layer being approximately between 10 and 150 ?m thick, or the antistatic plastic layer is embodied as a layer of material that is generally recognised as safe in terms of food, the antistatic plastic layer containing a plastic material that is generally recognised as safe in terms of food and an antistatic agent that is generally recognised as safe in terms of food.

  • Publication number: 20080213520
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-layer film with a deriving barrier layer and a plastic layer with reduced electrical resistance, whereby the plastic layer with reduced electrical resistance forms the middle layer of coextrusion film formed from three coextruded layers. The barrier layer is connected to the coextrusion film and on the side of the barrier layer facing away from the coextrusion film is provided with a plastic layer of limited extensibility.

  • Patent number: 6572942
Abstract: Antistatic fabric for flexible containers for bulk material that includes electrically non-conducting threads and static dissipative, special permanent antistatic threads. The static dissipative, special permanent antistatic threads are made of a thermoplastic synthetic with an additive mixed in that increases the conductivity. The static dissipative, special permanent antistatic thread is shaped like a small band or tape with an approximately rectangular cross-section or a multifilament of very thin filaments.

  • Patent number: 6447165
Abstract: The invention relates to a flexible shipping container (10) for bulk material, comprising a carrying bag (1) having a bottom (3) with at least one pocket (2.1, 2.2, 2.3) or flap (27) attached to it, such that a flat stiffening element can be inserted between the bottom and the pocket (2.1, 2.2, 2.3).

  • Publication number: 20010047707
Abstract: A pipe cutting machine includes a frame, a cutting blade mounted on the frame and movable in a predetermined direction for cutting apart a pipe and at least one clamping fitting having clamping jaws for clamping the pipe to be cut by the cutting blade. The clamping fitting is positioned obliquely with respect to the frame and to the direction of movement of a tip on the cutting blade such that clamping gaps defined by clamping jaws of the clamping fitting are angularly displaced from an exit point of the blade tip on the pipe and thereby one of the clamping jaws provides a backing abutment for the pipe disposed adjacent to the exit point of the blade tip so that impingement of the blade tip on the pipe at the exit point will not produce deformation of the pipe.
