  • Publication number: 20250035516
Abstract: A device is configured for determining the conductivity of a tire. The device includes a frame, a supporting device attached to the frame with a supporting surface that extends in a contact plane on which a tire can rest, a first measuring device attached to the frame and having an electrically conductive first segment, and a second measuring device attached to the frame and having an electrically conductive second segment. When a tire having a radially outer tread and a radially inner bead is resting on the supporting surface with a first side that faces toward the contact plane, the first measuring device can be moved from a second side of the tire opposite the first side to the bead so that in a test configuration the first segment contacts the bead and the second segment contacts the tread.

  • Publication number: 20230391032
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for marking a vehicle tyre (20) and a corresponding marking station. In one example, the vehicle tyre is supplied (100) to a marking station (10), the vehicle tyre (20) is aligned and centred (102, 103) in the marking station (10), marking is performed (108) in the marking station in accordance with characteristics of the vehicle tyre (20), and marking is performed (108) using one marking device (12) from a multiplicity of different marking devices (12). The method according to the invention is distinguished by the fact that the marking device (12) for marking the vehicle tyre (20) is positioned (107) at the vehicle tyre (20) by means of a robot arm (11).

  • Publication number: 20230273096
Abstract: A revolving drum arrangement (2) for a tire testing rig (1) has a drum body (5) and a friction wheel drive (6), wherein on its outer circumference (9) the drum body (5) has a running surface (9) for making contact with a vehicle tire (4) and is arranged to rotate about its running axle. The friction wheel drive (6) is designed to drive the drum body (5) when it is in contact with the drum body (5). The revolving drum arrangement (2) according to the invention is distinguished in that the friction wheel drive (6) is arranged on a friction wheel carriage (10) that is designed to move the friction wheel drive (6) along an infeed direction so that the friction wheel drive (6) can be brought into contact with the drum body (5). A corresponding tire testing rig (1) and method are also disclosed.
