  • Patent number: 7523974
Abstract: A motor vehicle has a body shell section, an interior trim part covering the body shell section and an attachment device for a separating or retaining element in particular a luggage grille. The attachment device has a mounting part secured to the body shell section with an attachment section and a holding device. The interior trim part has a hole, into which a cover is inserted, through which the holding section passes. In order to be able to reduce rattling noises, the cover is attached exclusively to the interior trim part and lies at a distance from the body shell section. An extension section is additionally provided between the holding section realized as a hook and the attachment section, in conjunction with which the hook is provided with a covering made of plastic executed as a push-on part, which together with the cover conceals the attachment device.

  • Patent number: 6178845
Abstract: A Bowden cable for transmitting tensile forces is composed of an exterior flexible Bowden cable casing and an interior pulling element guided in sections within the Bowden cable casing. At least one end of the Bowden cable casing is fastened in the longitudinal direction on a receiving device of a stationary holding member. The Bowden cable casing can be mounted on and demounted from the receiving device with low force expenditures and in a simple and rapid manner. The casing is also securely fixed in the fastening position. An injection-molded-on end piece is provided on the end of the Bowden cable casing to be fastened. This end piece can be pushed into a receiving device of the holding member extending approximately parallel to the longitudinal direction of the Bowden cable casing and is fixed in the axial direction in this receiving device by at least one resilient supporting arm constructed on the end piece.

  • Patent number: 6003399
Abstract: A cover and housing having a mounting arrangement, especially for a selector lever housing. According to the invention, the cover is fastened by means of two bearing points to provide a method of fastening a cover that can be mounted simply without adjustment and provides an exact fit for the cover. The first bearing point is made cylindrical and the axis of this cylinder runs parallel to a mounting direction or placement direction of the cover. The second bearing point is made wedge-shaped and the wedge axis lies in a plane that is perpendicular to the mounting direction or placement direction and is aligned so that it is not parallel to a tangent at the first cylindrical bearing point.
