  • Publication number: 20240097636
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to compensating for gain drift due to switching the output power of a transmitter of an electronic device. In some cellular network applications, the transmit power level of a transmitter may be frequently adjusted from a low power level to a high power level. If the power level is not switched to the desired power level within a given interval, the transmission signal may be distorted. To enable the transmitter to reach a desired output power within the interval, the voltage supply of a power amplifier may be raised during a low power symbol, which may produce an undesirable gain increase. To mitigate or eliminate the low power symbol gain increase, a gain compensation signal may be introduced into the transmitter. The compensation signal may be adjusted and refined by implementing a power control loop, the power control loop may include a power controller.

  • Publication number: 20230295516
Abstract: In a method for physical and thermochemical treatment of biomass, the biomass moisture content is reduced in a dryer and ammonia (NH3) is also released from the biomass during drying. The dried biomass is then either pyrolyzed in a pyrolysis reactor and the pyrolysis gas is forwarded to and combusted in a combustion device to form flue gas, or is combusted in a combustion facility unit to form flue gas. In either case the flue gas is fed to a mixer. Oxygen (O2) is metered to the flue gas in the mixer and is fed directly to the dryer as drying gas. As the drying gas passes through the dryer, the sulfur dioxide (SO2) contained in the drying gas and/or the sulfur trioxide (SO3) chemically reacts with the ammonia (NH3) to form ammonium sulfite ((NH4)2SO3) and/or ammonium sulfate ((NH4)2SO4). Also a treatment facility physically and thermochemically treats the biomass.

  • Publication number: 20210378399
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for storing portable firearms, in particular handguns, such as pistols and revolvers, in a housing, which device comprises a rod that can be inserted into the barrel of the portable firearm. Furthermore, a pin is provided, which can be advanced through the trigger guard to a position in front of the trigger of the portable firearm. The advanced pin prevents the portable firearm from being removed from the housing and prevents the trigger from being pulled. Finally, a securing means for preventing the pin from being pushed back without authorization is provided, which securing means comprises an apparatus for entering a security code and/or an apparatus for identifying biometric features, such as fingerprints, faces or eyes, in particular the iris. A sensor, which senses the presence of a portable firearm arranged on the rod, activates the securing means.
