  • Publication number: 20150355382
Abstract: A coated substrate is provided with a scratch-resistant anti-reflective coating. The anti-reflective coating is designed as an optical interference coating that has at least two low refractive index layers and at least one high refractive index layer. The high refractive index layer is a transparent hard material layer and includes crystalline aluminum nitride with a hexagonal crystal structure with a (001) preferred orientation. The low refractive index layers include SiO2. The low refractive index layers and high refractive index layers are arranged alternately.

  • Publication number: 20150290410
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pressure equalization balloon, wherein the volume of the pressure equalization balloon is connected to a further volume, the pressure of which is intended to remain as constant as possible even in the event of a forced volume change. Therefore, in order to keep the cuff pressure in the pressure range that is generally considered appropriate and optimal of between roughly 20 mbar and 30 mbar, the equalization balloon is produced according to the invention from a thermoplastic polymer (TPE) and is overstretched past the maximum intended control volume before first use and is then relaxed to the range of the control volume.

  • Publication number: 20150053514
Abstract: A compact control device for failsafely controlling an electrical actuator capable of moving a movable machine part into a defined end position, has an input connection for receiving an external control signal representing a desired position of the machine part. The compact control device further has an input part for detecting a position signal, which signals an actual position of the machine part at the defined end position. A power section comprises a power switching element for switching on and failsafely switching off a control current for the actuator that is supplied to the electrical actuator via a first output connection. The compact control device has a second output connection for providing an external status signal and an evaluation unit which actuates the power switching element depending on the external control signal and generates the external status signal at the second output connection depending on the position signal.

  • Patent number: 8952917
Abstract: A display and control device for medical equipment, comprising several identically configured display/control units, which are located on a base unit. The base unit is equipped with a bus, to which the display/control units and components of the medical equipment are connected. The base unit comprises connection devices, which are used to connect the display/control units to the bus. Once a display/control unit has been connected, a configuration unit transmits configuration data to the display/control unit and only then defines which function the display/control unit is to fulfill. This permits defective display/control units to be simply replaced. The construction of the display/control units is likewise simple and not susceptible to malfunctions.
