  • Patent number: 11911741
Abstract: The present invention relates to a diatomaceous earth composition with a low endotoxin content, comprising an agglomerated mixture of calcined diatomaceous earth particles and water, wherein the mass ratio of calcined diatomaceous earth particles and water is in the range of 1:1.0 to 1:2.0, and wherein the endotoxin content of the diatomaceous earth composition is equal to or less than 0.5 EU/mL. In a further aspect, the present invention relates to a method for producing the diatomaceous earth composition with a low endotoxin content. In another aspect, the present invention relates to the use of the diatomaceous earth composition with a low endotoxin content as a precoat agent for the precoat filtration in biopharmaceutical applications.

  • Patent number: 8989680
Abstract: According to one aspect, a method is provided for determining a state of a receiver on a transmission line. The method may comprise, for example, evaluating a first voltage arising at a circuit point between an impedance and a transmission line coupled to the impedance, wherein the impedance is coupled between a transmitter and the receiver, and determining a state of the receiver based on the first voltage. According to further aspects, various apparatuses are provided for performing this and other methods.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: March 24, 2015
    Assignee: Infineon Technologies AG
    Inventor: Andreas Hebenstreit
  • Patent number: 8953292
Abstract: Embodiments of bus interface circuitry and methods for short circuit detection are generally described herein. Other embodiments may be described and claimed. In some embodiments, the bus interface circuitry comprises logic circuitry to compare a driver stage output signal at a bond pad to internal reference voltages to generate control signals indicative of whether a short-circuit condition exists on a bus. The driver stage of the bus interface may be temporarily disabled when a short-circuit condition is indicated by the control signals.

  • Patent number: 7633321
Abstract: A driver circuit includes an output, at least one transistor including a load section coupled between the output and a supply voltage, and a circuit coupled to a control terminal of the at least one transistor to apply a control voltage to the control terminal in at least one operation mode of the driver circuit. The control voltage is within a predetermined voltage range de-pending on a first predetermined voltage below a nominal voltage range of the output.
