    Abstract: A sensor device for an oxygen module mountable on board an aircraft includes an electrical conducting element, a defining device for defining at least one measurement section, assigned to the oxygen module, on the electrical conducting element, and an evaluating unit for determining an electrical resistance present along the at least one measurement section, the evaluating unit further being configured to ascertain, based on the determined electrical resistance, whether the oxygen module is present. An aircraft has at least one oxygen module mounted on board the aircraft and at least one sensor device of the above type.
