  • Publication number: 20230327317
Abstract: An antenna mounting system that includes abase member, a plurality of spaced retaining attachment section and retaining members is provided. The base member has a central passage that is configured to receive an antenna shaft. The plurality of spaced retaining attachment sections are coupled to the base member. A retaining member is coupled to each retaining attachment section. Each retaining member has an engagement portion that is configured to engage an upper surface of a ceiling and a biasing portion that is configured to provide a bias force on the engagement portion to engage the upper surface of the ceiling.

  • Patent number: 10798652
Abstract: One embodiment is directed to a distributed antenna system (DAS) configured to cause a remote antenna unit deployed near a railroad track to operate in a low-power and/or muted operational state. While the remote antenna unit is operating in the low-power and/or muted operational state, the DAS determines if a train is sufficiently close to a coverage area of the remote antenna unit to trigger a change in an operational state of the remote antenna unit. In response to such a determination, the DAS causes the remote antenna unit to operate in a normal operational state. While the remote antenna unit is operating in the normal operational state, the DAS determines if the train has exited the coverage area of the remote antenna unit. In response to such a determination, the DAS causes the remote antenna unit to operate in the low-power and/or muted operational state.
