    Abstract: A device for removing hot-melt adhesive from a rotating, vertically-arranged roller (1), comprising: a hollow, preferably hollow cylindrical, scraper (2), characterized in that the scraper (2) comprises an opening (6) on the circumferential surface thereof along the longitudinal axis, at which opening a strike plate (3) that protrudes radially outward is arranged, and wherein the strike plate (3) is arranged such that it can be brought into a position for removing adhesive from the roller (1) and can convey the removed adhesive towards the circumferential inner side of the scraper (2).
