Abstract: A system for detecting a leakage flow of a toilet having a water cistern and an inlet pipe that is in fluid communication with the water cistern is disclosed. The system includes a vibration sensor arranged in a position, in which the vibration sensor can detect vibration signals caused by water flowing through the inlet pipe or through the water cistern and a computer unit arranged and configured to receive data from the vibration sensor. The computer unit is configured to determine when no vibration amplitude below a predefined amplitude level has been detected by the vibration sensor in a predefined time period.
