  • Patent number: 11952302
Abstract: A process for the production of a fluorinated quartz glass including the steps of generating SiO2 particles in a synthesis burner; depositing the resulting SiO2 particles into a body; and vitrifying the resulting body, wherein a fluorinating agent having a boiling point greater than or equal to ?10° C. is supplied to the synthesis burner.

  • Patent number: 9341067
Abstract: A blade arrangement with a rotor and a plurality of blades which are distributed in a ring along the circumference of the rotor is provided. Two immediately adjacent blades of the ring form a blade pair, between the blades of which a damping element is arranged, and wherein the respective damping element comes into contact with the two blades of the blade pair assigned to them during a rotation of the rotor about a rotor axis as a result of a centrifugal force which acts in the radial direction. In order to bring about frequency detuning of the oscillation properties of blades, as a result of which machining of the turbine blade becomes unnecessary, it is proposed that the blade ring has at least two blade pairs with different damping elements.

  • Patent number: 8167563
Abstract: A blade arrangement, with a rotor and a plurality of blades which are arranged on the periphery of the rotor in a ring, and a plurality of damping elements are provided. Between two directly adjacent blades at least two damping elements are arranged in series in the circumferential direction of the rotor. As a result of a centrifugal force, which acts in the radial direction, during a rotation of the rotor around a rotor axis adjacent damping elements come into contact with each other, and one of the two damping elements comes into contact with one of the two blades and the other of the two damping elements comes into contact with the other of the two blades.

  • Patent number: 7869565
Abstract: A method of determining a parameter of interest of reservoir rock formation is described using the steps of measuring an x-ray attenuation or absorption distribution of a sample of said rock formation, identifying the mineral phase part of said distribution, and subdividing the mineral phase part of said distribution to derive classification or rock type information of said sample.
