  • Patent number: 10209338
Abstract: The present invention relates to a magnetic resonance tomography apparatus for generating tomography data of an examination object in a magnetic field by means of an electromagnetic pulse sequence, having a memory for storing reference tomography data of a reference examination object; an acquisition facility for generating tomography data of the reference examination object by means of the pulse sequence; and an adjustment facility for reducing a deviation between the tomography data and the reference tomography data by adjusting a physical parameter in the pulse sequence.

  • Publication number: 20150351658
Abstract: A medical device has an image generation module to generate an image of a subject, an adjustment module to adjust at least one parameter that is used by the image generation module to generate the image, and an evaluation module to evaluate whether the image generated by the image generation module based on the adjustment of the adjustment module, deviates by a predefined amount from a predefined set value. An access module accesses a memory in which units are stored, with which a specific running sequence for the generation of an image can be run by the image generation module. The access module accesses the memory to download a unit if the evaluation by the evaluation module shows that the image generated by the image generation module on the basis of the adjustment of the adjustment module deviates more than by the predefined amount from a predefined set value.

  • Publication number: 20150350109
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for providing computing resources for at least one medical imaging system and/or image processing system and to a medical imaging system and/or image processing system, a computer program and a machine-readable storage medium. The imaging system and/or image processing system exchanges (4) data via a local network (1), wherein the computing resources are provided locally on at least one computer (2) which is assigned to the imaging system and/or image processing system and/or are provided centrally for all imaging systems and/or imaging processing systems connected via the local network (1) on at least one computer (2) which is disposed in at least one Cloud (3), so that the computing resources can be shared (5), if necessary temporarily, between the imaging systems and/or image processing system. Thus sufficient computing resources are provided to prevent performance bottlenecks and also to make local software upgrades superfluous.

  • Patent number: 8249261
Abstract: A method and a graphics facility are provided to allow a choice of hearing apparatus to be made easier for a user via a three-dimensional presentation of a hearing apparatus on a head of a user. A 3D model of the hearing apparatus is provided as a virtual hearing apparatus and a 3D model of the head of the user or of a part thereof is obtained as a virtual head. The virtual hearing apparatus is subsequently aligned to the virtual head so that the virtual head can be presented graphically in three dimensions along with the fitted virtual hearing apparatus. This especially allows different types and colors of hearing apparatus to be represented in an animation on the user's head.
