  • Publication number: 20070101178
Abstract: A Monitoring and Diagnostics System is provided, which includes a monitoring unit and a monitored unit remotely located from the monitoring unit. The System also includes communication means between the monitoring unit and the monitored unit. The monitored unit includes data acquisition means for providing fault data of the monitored unit and the communication means are adapted to communicate the fault data from the monitored unit to the monitoring unit. The monitoring unit includes a rules engine having a set of expert rules for analyzing the information contained in the fault data and being adapted to deduce diagnostics information from the rules and from the information. In addition, a communication method for communicating between a first Programmable Logic Controller and a second Programmable Logic Controller or a central unit is provided, in which a description file is provided.

  • Publication number: 20070018510
Abstract: A method for controlling power produced by a windfarm includes regulating active power produced by the windfarm in accordance with an apparent power setpoint, and regulating a power factor of the windfarm in accordance with a power factor setpoint. However, during periods in which the apparent power setpoint is approached or exceeded, the method includes reducing a magnitude of an angle of a power factor setpoint towards zero and regulating the power factor of the windfarm in accordance with the reduced power factor setpoint angle magnitude.

  • Publication number: 20060208876
Abstract: There is provided a transmitter/receiver apparatus for sensor signals, comprising a transmitting device for wirelessly transmitting signals, a receiving device for receiving wirelessly transmitted signals, a connection device to which at least one sensor is connectable for signal input, and which has at least one connection for signal output, and a control device which is connected to the connection device, the transmitting device and the receiving device, wherein the signal traffic between the connection device, the transmitting device and the receiving device is controllable by means of the control device.

  • Publication number: 20040263810
Abstract: For the correction of anamorphism in the case of a projection lens of an EUV projection exposure apparatus for wafers it is proposed to tilt the reticle bearing the pattern to be projected and preferably also the wafer by a small angle about an axis that is perpendicular to the axis A of the lens and perpendicular to the scan direction and that in each instance passes through the middle of the light field generated on the reticle or on the wafer. For the correction of a substantially antisymmetric quadratic distortion the reticle and/or the substrate is instead rotated about an axis of rotation that is disposed at least approximately parallel to an optical axis of the projection lens.

  • Patent number: 4334825
Abstract: The neck of a hingeless helicopter rotor wing blade is provided with a damping device effective to dampen lead-lag movements of the rotor wing blade. For this purpose the damping device comprises at least two stiff plates secured to opposite sides of the blade neck by a plurality of elastomeric members glued or bonded to the respective stiff plate and to the blade neck at spaced intervals. The difference of deformation between the stiff plates and the blade neck causes a deformation of the individual members in directions substantially across the longitudinal blade direction (in lead-lag plane). The spacings between adjacent members are located where the damping action is inherently low.
