  • Patent number: 11919797
Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing glass products from tubular glass precursors is provided. In particular, a method and apparatus for separating tube glass into sized glass tube portions, produced glass tube portions, glass precursor portions, or glass product portions, and their use as pharmaceutical packaging are provided. The tube glass or the glass precursor or the glass product is provided with filaments along predetermined breaking planes. The filaments extend obliquely to the local wall radius and allow for clean separation of the tube glass or the glass precursor or the glass product.

  • Patent number: 8123394
Abstract: A mixer having a mixing pipe (1), a rotatable mixing unit (3) having back-mixing action, and a supply of the liquid colorant (4, 5) through the wall of the mixing pipe in the area of the mixing unit allows uniform mixing of liquid colorants of differing viscosities even with fixed-cycle supply of the liquid colorants. Mixing liquid colorants using this mixer allows direct dosing of the mixed liquid colorant into a plastic processing machine in the event of volumetric dosing of the employed liquid colorants.

  • Patent number: 6196564
Abstract: A wheel suspension for a motor vehicle, particularly a rear wheel suspension, has a spring which is arranged separately from a shock absorber. The spring and the shock absorber are supported at their lower ends, by way of a common console arranged approximately transversely to the vehicle, on a longitudinal rear axle tube. An upper end of the shock absorber is swivellably held on a carrying device fastened to a vehicle body member. An upper end of the spring is disposed in a supporting device integrated in the vehicle body member.

  • Patent number: 6106077
Abstract: A wheel bolt for a a vehicle wheel has a shaft with a torque applying head and a threaded section. A rotatable supporting ring is disposed between the head and threaded section, which supporting ring has a spherical construction with a contact area for contacting a vehicle wheel. The supporting ring is non-rotatably held on the shaft in a ring groove by way of at least one caulking.

  • Patent number: 5315121
Abstract: For simplifying the structure of a metal ion source, in particular for imnting into semiconductor wafers small doses of metals which are hard to vaporize, the metal ion source includes an electrically heatable thermionic cathode in the form of a heating wire within an ion chamber, the heating wire being arranged adjacent a metallic component, which consists of the metal intended to give off the metal ions, and being essentially at the potential of the metallic component.

  • Patent number: 4158771
Abstract: A method of making an ion filter having an electrically insulating body formed of at least two longitudinal parts and having metallized inner faces of generally hyperbolic cross-sectional shape, comprises the following steps:(a) making longitudinal body segments constituting the longitudinal parts;(b) grinding the longitudinal body segments to the predetermined cross-sectional shape;(c) metallizing those ground surface portions of each longitudinal body segment that are to serve in the ion filter as inner electrode faces for generating electric fields of predetermined configuration; and(d) securing, subsequent to the metallizing step, the longitudinal body segments to one another.
