  • Patent number: 9114802
Abstract: A method for control of braking by a supplementary brake (290-296) of a motor vehicle (100; 110): Choose (s410) supplementary braking by a control device (270). Continuously determine 20) total available supplementary brake torque (Mtot) and determine (s430) by the control device (270) a chosen proportion (Mshare) of total available supplementary brake torque (Mtot). Determine (s440) a supplementary brake torque (Mtot*) corresponding to the chosen proportion share) and apportion (s450) supplementary brake torque determined (Mtot*) to a chosen supplementary brake (290-296). A computer program (P) implements the method. A device controls braking by a supplementary brake (290-296). A motor vehicle (100; 110) is equipped with the device.

  • Patent number: 9109647
Abstract: A method, a device and a computer program for control of a motor vehicle's propulsion. When a clutch torque (Req T) is demanded by a driver activating of an accelerator pedal, the degree of closure (G) of the vehicle's clutch actuator is controlled by feedback on the basis of a monitored engine torque. There is at least one further consumer (290) of engine power in addition to propulsion. The method includes detecting (s410) activation of the at least one further consumer and, when such activation is detected, changing (s420) the feedback control to open control, whereby the degree of closure (G) of the vehicle's clutch actuator is based on a predetermined relationship between the degree of closure (G) and the clutch torque (Req T).

  • Publication number: 20150166067
Abstract: A method for regulating the speed of an engine of a vehicle, the vehicle being provided with a clutch which is operated by a vehicle control system for selectively connecting the engine to a gearbox for transmission of torque. When the speed of the engine is to be guided towards a set-point value, the speed of the engine is regulated by using the control system to regulate the torque transmitted by the clutch. Also a system performing the method and a vehicle comprising the system.

  • Patent number: 9014929
Abstract: A method for determining a need for contact point adaptation for a clutch (106) of a vehicle (100), which clutch (106) transmits driving power between a power source engine (101) and at least one powered wheel (113, 114). At a first point in time, determining a first temperature (T1) of the clutch (106), comparing the first temperature (T1) with a second temperature (T2) of said clutch (106) determined at a second point in time which precedes the first point in time, and determining a need for contact point adaptation when the first temperature (T1) differs from the second temperature (T2) by more than a first value (?T)).

  • Patent number: 8936530
Abstract: A method concerning determining of a contact point for a clutch (106) of a vehicle (100), such that the clutch (106) to transmit driving power between a first power source in the form of an engine (101) and at least one powered wheel (113, 114), by opening of the clutch (106), and when the contact point is being determined and the vehicle (100) is in motion controlling the speed of the first power source (101) towards a first speed (?1) which is higher than an idling speed of the first power source (101).
