  • Publication number: 20150298601
Abstract: A vehicle glazing having a pane, a light-conducting layer, a refractive layer, and a light source. The light conducting layer is configured to conduct light coupled at its end side and has decoupling means, via which a light exit of conducted light is caused at least on one of its main surfaces. The light-conducting layer is materially bonded to the pane. The refractive layer is arranged between the pane and the light-conducting layer, has a lower index of refraction than the light-conducting layer, and is simultaneously implemented as a lamination layer. • Patent number: 8695309
Abstract: In the method for sealing of replacement windows, a sealing tape with a first layer of flexible foam and a second layer of stiff material, which are bonded to each other, is used. The sealing tape is inserted with the second layer facing forward into a channel-shaped recess in the masonry, which is bounded by a bottom and two side walls and comprises an open access section, wherein the first layer of the sealing tape is at least partially compressed when in the inserted state. The second layer of the sealing tape is clamped against the side walls of the recess at a predetermined distance from the open access section. • Patent number: 8590261
Abstract: In the method for sealing of replacement windows a sealing tape with a first layer of flexible foam and a second layer of stiff material is inserted into a channel-shaped recess in masonry so that the first layer of the sealing tape is oriented toward the bottom of the recess and is at least partially compressed. The expansion of the first layer is temporarily limited by clamping the second layer directly or indirectly against the side walls of the recess, or by use of retaining elements, which exert a retaining function on the second layer. A window frame is installed in an area of the recess during the temporary limitation of the expansion of the first layer of the sealing tape, whereupon the first layer expands further or is allowed to expand further until the sealing tape rests against the window frame.

  • Patent number: 8272777
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for mixing an exhaust gas flow with a fluid in an exhaust gas pipe 40 of an exhaust gas system 4, in which the fluid is injected by means of an injection device 5 into the exhaust gas pipe 40. The exhaust gas flow is guided in the exhaust gas pipe 40 in the area of the injection device 5 in a direction of flow S parallel to the exhaust gas pipe 40. The fluid is injected directly onto a deflection element 6 which is arranged in the exhaust gas pipe 40 in a central direction of injection E which deviates from the direction of flow S by an angle se, wherein by means of at least one sheet metal part 60 which is provided on the deflection element 6 and which is raised at least partially at an angle sv with reference to the direction of flow S, the exhaust gas flow is diverted with reference to the direction of flow S from its direction of flow S into a central direction of distribution V.

  • Patent number: 8182404
Abstract: The invention provides for the replacement of the cutting plate (15) and the press die (16) to be carried out automatically, specifically with the aid of a positioning device for positioning the stack of printed sheets (11) to be trimmed under the press die (16). In this way, the automatic conversion of the automatic three-knife trimmer for a format change is possible without a significant change to the automatic three-knife trimmer. Only the control system of the positioning device has to be changed and expanded. The positioning device (21) automatically ensures that the new press die (16) and the new cutting plate (15) are positioned exactly. In particular, the positioning of the die plate (19) under the format plate (18) can be carried out automatically by means of the positioning device with the required high accuracy, to be specific with higher accuracy than would be possible manually.
