  • Publication number: 20240183699
Abstract: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include an air mass sensor for determining an air mass flow rate. The sensor may include: a housing defining an electronics chamber; and sensor electronics at least partly located in the electronics chamber. The housing defines a duct providing passage for a gas to flow through the housing. The housing defines an opening connecting the duct and the electronics chamber. The electronics chamber forms a pressure compensation volume for the duct.

Abstract: Various teachings of the present disclosure include an air mass sensor for determining an air mass flow rate. The sensor may include: a housing defining a chamber; sensor electronics at least partly located in the chamber; a duct passing an air mass flow through the housing to be measured, the duct comprising an inlet port and an outlet port; and at least one compensation port connecting the duct to surroundings external to the housing.

  • Patent number: 10823178
Abstract: A radial compressor, with a rotor-side impeller, a stator-side housing, an inflow passage via which medium to be compressed can be fed to the impeller in the axial direction, a diffuser via which compressed medium can be conducted in the radial direction away from the impeller in the direction of a spiral housing section of the housing The diffuser radially outside in a transition region to the spiral housing section has an enlarging flow cross section.

  • Publication number: 20180216629
Abstract: A radial compressor having a compressor rotor with blades; a compressor housing, a diffuser having guide vanes. The diffuser delimits a flow duct in radial direction. The guide vanes of have a flow inlet edge, a flow outlet edge, and flow-conducting sides. The guide vanes project into the flow duct that is delimited by the diffuser. The guide vanes merge into a support body subject to forming a curvature region that is defined on the flow side. In each position of the curvature region, i.e. in the region of the flow inlet edge, in the region of the flow outlet edge and in regions between the flow inlet edge and the flow outlet edge a curvature radius that is defined on the flow side is formed in each case.
