    Abstract: A method in a cache node (30) of a network comprises monitoring a secure data stream being received at the cache node from a server node, and detecting from one or more data chunks of the secure data stream that the secure data stream contains a data object that has been previously received and cached at the cache node, and sending a notification signal to the server node that the data object has been previously cached. The method may further comprise receiving one or more encryption header portions (e.g. TLS headers) from the server node, inserting a previously cached data chunk corresponding to each of the one or more encryption header portions into the data stream, and sending the data stream to a client device.

The processor identifies a first one of the selection zones that has been selected by the user on the touch-sensitive display, and outputs a first one of the indicia that is associated with the first selection zone. The processor changes the size of a second one of the selection zones in response to it being associated with a second one of the indicia that is more likely to be selected next following selection of the first selection zone associated with the first indicia than at least another one of the selection zones. Related methods of operating an electronic device are disclosed.

The media device downloads or streams the identified media content from the content provider 106a, while also synchronizing playback of the identified/downloaded/streamed media content on the media device 102 with the playback of the media content on the other device 104. The media content may be embedded with a digital watermark for identification of the media content and the content provider 106a. A machine-to-machine platform 108 may assist in identifying the media content and content provider 106a from the captured media content.

    Abstract: In one aspect of the teachings herein, a wireless device is configured to obtain identification information for musical piece. Advantageously, the wireless device is configured so that a user can provide a triggering input to the wireless device when the user hears a musical piece of interest being played back on an audio system that is external to the wireless device and proximate to the user. In response, the wireless device initiates communication with a server, which communication includes sending a generic identification request to the server. The server knows which musical piece is currently playing on the audio system, e.g., based on connectivity between the server and the audio system, and the server returns identification information for the currently playing musical piece. This approach obviates the need for the wireless device to capture and process audio data, or to use fingerprint information derived from captured audio data.
