  • Publication number: 20200173538
Abstract: A device and method for selecting gears in motor vehicles has an operating element selecting the respective gear, which operating element is manually pivotable or rotatable with respect to at least one axis of rotation, a haptic feedback for a user being generable by means of an actuator acting upon the operating element, and a control unit generating gear control signals and actuating the actuator depending on the position of the operating element. The device has a simpler design that can be controlled with little complexity. The operating element is designed for manual actuation by the user as well as for automatic shifting by the actuator which is actuated by the control unit.

  • Patent number: 9514642
Abstract: A method for queue recognition by wireless vehicle to vehicle communication includes: checking a relevance for surrounding vehicles from which an ego vehicle receives messages by a comparison with relevance criteria and establishing a relevance if the relevance criteria are satisfied; selecting the speed and position values that are associated with relevant surrounding vehicles and have the speed values indicating a same direction of travel as the ego vehicle; defining a first virtual vehicle to which mean values of selected speed and position values are allocated as values for the at least one first virtual vehicle; recording a time profile of the speed and position values of the at least one first virtual vehicle; recording, as a change value, the time profile of changes in the speed and position values of the first virtual vehicle; and comparing the change value with a queue criterion.

  • Patent number: 9301330
Abstract: A method for mobile radio communication between a communication partner device and a mobile communication device includes conducting a communication, at least temporarily, via at least two different mobile radio connections in two different mobile radio networks; evaluating the reception quality of receive signals of each mobile radio connection in the mobile communication device; selecting the mobile radio connection with the best reception quality for the mobile radio communication, at least in a receiving direction; deriving different audio signals from the receive signals of the different mobile radio connections; and feeding the derived different audio signals to a delay circuit, which aligns transit time differences and/or the amplitude differences of the derived different audio signals with respect to one another.

  • Publication number: 20080285405
Abstract: A playback device for information data sets with a microphone, a memory arrangement, and a control unit. The audio markers are recorded with the microphone. The memory arrangement stores the audio markers in association with the respective information data sets. Furthermore, a control unit is coupled to the memory arrangement and to the microphone. In the method of operating the playback device for information data sets, the recognition of an information data set without an associated audio marker triggers the recording of an audio marker, and the newly recorded audio marker is stored in association with the relevant information data set.
