  • Publication number: 20240059589
Abstract: A device for sterilising a fluid flowing therethrough by comprises a container having an inlet for receiving the fluid and an outlet for discharging the fluid, a variable or adjustable irradiation zone for irradiating the fluid with UV radiation. The irradiation zone including a gap which extends between two oppositely arranged walls. The distance between the walls, and thus the gap size of the gap, can be changed by at least one wall being movable. For example, the wall is a wall of a displaceable body that is located inside the container or projecting into the container. By adjusting the distance between the walls in the region of the gap, and thus the layer thickness of the fluid flowing through the gap, the efficiency of the operation of the device is optimised with different scattering and absorption properties of the fluid.

  • Patent number: 11563286
Abstract: A lighting device contains a first circuit board and a second circuit board. The first circuit board has one or more connecting sections having overall at least two contact areas. The second circuit board has an opening through which the connecting section of the first circuit board can extend. At least two contact elements, which are electrically connected to conductive tracks of the second circuit board, are arranged on the second circuit board. Each contact element has a contact region by which the contact element butts against one of the contact areas of the first circuit board. As a result, an electrical connection is produced between the two circuit boards.

  • Publication number: 20220340450
Abstract: An apparatus for sterilizing a liquid comprises a container (10) having an inlet (12), an outlet (14) and an interior (16) with an outer wall (18), and at least one light source (32) which is adapted to emit radiation in the ultraviolet wavelength range, in particular UV-C radiation, through the outer wall (18) into the interior (16), the outer wall (18) of the interior (16) for this purpose being configured to be at least partially transparent. The inlet (12) comprises at least one opening (28), which is positioned and aligned in relation to the outer wall (18) of the interior (16) and the at least one light source (32) in order, when a pressure is exerted on the liquid to be admitted through the at least one opening (28) and to be sterilized, to form a liquid jet (30) directed onto the outer wall (18) in a region of the at least one light source (32) and/or above the latter, and/or to form a liquid film (31) there.
