Patent number: 11996989Abstract: An application specific interface (AA-NAPI) associated with an application for the purpose of controlling the networking aspects of the application session is provided by communication service provider (CSP). Cost model of network service types associated with a specific application type is learned by using the AA-NAPI. For each service-point joining the session, network properties are queried by using the AA-NAPI. During continuous service quality monitoring, upon detection of quality degradation leading to the decision to upgrade session quality, network service-type associated with a specific server-point is changed by using the AA-NAPI. Network specific actions are taken to reconfigure the network so that the requested service type is received by the specific service-point. New network capability is activated to improve network service level by using the AA-NAPI.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2023Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: NOKIA SOLUTIONS AND NETWORKSInventors: Bilgehan Erman, Ejder Bastug, Bruce Cilli, Andrea Francini, Raymond Miller, Charles Payette, Sameerkumar Sharma

Patent number: 11913506Abstract: A vehicle transmission includes a hydraulic circuit and a control unit. The control unit is configured to: obtain (20) a target pressure specification; convert (26) the target pressure specification into a target volume flow rate; determine (42) a valve volume flow rate as a function of the target volume flow rate and as a function of parameters that represent system properties of the hydraulic circuit; determine (46) a pressure drop at a valve due to flow forces as a function of the valve volume flow rate; determine (48) a compensated valve output pressure as a function of the valve volume flow rate and the pressure drop; determine (58) the electric control current as a function of the compensated valve output pressure; and activate a valve with the electric control current.Type: GrantFiled: June 7, 2023Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: ZF Friedrichshafen AGInventors: Anton Fritzer, Thilo Schmidt, Andreas Schmidt, Valentine Vincent, Christoph Köhler, Jonas Knör, Michael Miller, Mario Hasel, Jakob Mayer, Christian Hunger, Fabian Schöniger

Patent number: 11569669Abstract: A device for connecting a first network comprising a first energy storage element and a second network comprising a second energy storage element includes switching circuitry and pre-charging circuitry. The switching circuitry is configured to electrically couple the first network and the second network. The switching circuitry comprises a first switching element configured to bi-directionally allow current between the first network and a center point node when operating in a closed state. The switching circuitry further comprises a second switching element configured to bi-directionally allow current between the second network and the center point node when operating in a closed state. The pre-charging circuitry is configured to limit current to the center point node when a first voltage at the first energy storage element equalizes with a second voltage at the second energy storage element.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2021Date of Patent: January 31, 2023Assignee: Infineon Technologies AGInventors: Andreas Miller, Radovan Vuletic

Patent number: 10656260Abstract: Embodiments relate to machines including a movable part. A transmitter circuit is configured to generate a radio signal and to transmit the radio signal towards the movable part via a transmit waveguide. A reflection of the radio signal from the movable part is received by a receive waveguide and guided through the receive waveguide to a receiver circuit, which is configured to determine a position and/or a speed of the movable part based on at least the received radio signal. The transmitter circuit and the receiver circuit may be comprised by a radar sensor.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2017Date of Patent: May 19, 2020Assignee: Infineon Technologies AGInventors: Dirk Hammerschmidt, Farhan Bin Khalid, Frank Heinrichs, Erich Kolmhofer, Christof Michenthaler, Andreas Miller

Publication number: 20130328362Abstract: A portable chair cover can be attached to a portable folding chair and remain on the chair. A storage pouch on the back and pockets on the sides store desired items during transportation and while the chair is occupied. A shoulder strap provides hands-free transporting of the chair with the cover attached. A removable pocket with a carrying strap is alternately used as a pocket on the chair and as a purse or carry bag for valuables when detached from the chair. A foot support cover is used on a foot support portion of a lounge and draped down on the sand on a beach chair. The foot support cover is removable for shaking off the sand.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 23, 2010Publication date: December 12, 2013Inventor: Andrea Miller
