  • Patent number: 11623457
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a rendering apparatus, method and non-transitory machine-readable storage medium for determining a speed of a carriage during rendering of an image. A plurality of swaths of rendering fluid are deposited on a print target using a set of printheads moving across the print target. A temperature of a curing module is measured at a respective time of depositing each respective swath. An arrival time for each deposited swath to respectively arrive at the curing module is predicted. The speed of the carriage during depositing the plurality of swaths is determined based on the measured temperature of the curing module and predicted arrival time for each respective swath.

  • Patent number: 11579017
Abstract: A method for enhancement of spontaneous Raman scattering (SRS) from gases comprising a multimode blue laser diode which receives feedback from a near concentric bidirectional multipass cavity in such a way as to generate a circulating power of order 100 W for a sample volume of 10 mm3. The feedback, provided via a volume Bragg grating, reduces the laser bandwidth to 4 cm?1. Spectra of spontaneous Raman scattering from ambient atmospheric air, detected collinearly with the pump, were recorded with a limit of detection below 1 part-per-million.

  • Publication number: 20220134736
Abstract: In an example, a machine-readable medium stores instructions which when executed by a processor cause the processor to determine a difference between a measured printed output and an expected printed output. Based on the difference, a first control instruction for controlling a drop size wherein the drop size is variable, and a second control instruction for controlling a dot density of a variable dot density may be determined.

  • Patent number: 11285733
Abstract: The method may comprise depositing print agent of a particular color onto a printable substrate to form a patch of print agent. It may comprise directing radiation from a plurality of radiation sources onto the patch of print agent and onto the printable substrate. Also, may comprise detecting, using a sensor, radiation from the plurality of radiation sources which has been reflected from the printable substrate and radiation from the plurality of radiation sources which has been reflected from the patch of print agent. Further, may comprise measuring, for each of the plurality of radiation sources, an intensity of the radiation reflected from the printable substrate and an intensity of the radiation reflected from the patch of print agent. Also, may comprise selecting, based on the measured intensities, a radiation source of the sources to be associated with the print agent of the particular color.

  • Patent number: 11228851
Abstract: A cerumen protection plug for a hearing device. The cerumen protection plug prevents cerumen from passing along a sound conduit in the hearing device and blocking sound output from a receiver in the hearing device. The cerumen protection plug includes a circular plug containing a cerumen barrier. A positioning handle allows the cerumen barrier to be positioned along the sound conduit, where it prevents cerumen that has entered the sound conduit from traveling along the sound conduit to the receiver or an output port of the receiver.
