    Abstract: There is provided a method, in a wireless device, for transmitting a reference signal. The method comprises: receiving a configuration via Radio Resource Control (RRC) from a network node, the configuration comprising a list of slot offset values configured for a Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resource set; receiving Downlink Control Information (DCI) triggering the SRS resource set, wherein the DCI contains a slot offset bitfield for indicating one of the slot offset values in the list of slot offset values and wherein each entry of the list of slot offset values corresponds to a codepoint of the slot offset bitfield; and transmitting a reference signal using SRS resources configured in the triggered SRS resource set based on the indicated slot offset value.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that relate to configuring Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) for Channel State Information (CSI) feedback associated with downlink transmission from multiple Transmission and Reception Points (TRPs). In one embodiment, a method performed by a User Equipment (UE) comprises receiving information that indicates, for one or more CSI-RS ports in one or more CSI-RS resources in a CSI-RS resource set: (a) multiple Transmission Configuration Indicator (TCI) states associated to each of the CSI-RS resource(s), (b) a single TCI state for each of multiple CSI-RS resources in the CSI-RS resource set, wherein the multiple CSI-RS resources are fully overlapping in time and frequency and each of the multiple CSI-RS resources is associated to a different TCI state, or both (a) and (b). The method further comprises performing channel measurement, determining a channel rank, computing a channel quality, and sending feedback comprising the rank and channel quality.

Transmitting SRS according to the SRS configuration comprises transmitting SRS using an 8 port codebook.

In this way, the unified TCI state framework can be extended to mTRP and multi-panel transmission for configured grant. With the unified TCI state framework, separate spatial relations do not have to be configured for UL transmission. Hence, unified TCI state framework can provide some higher layer overhead savings. By extending unified TCI state framework for mTRP and multi-panel transmission for configured grant, configured grant based PUSCH can also leverage this advantage.
